The historic family residence of Sacher Baden in the Emperor City Baden near Vienna is located between the ruins of Rauhenstein and Rauheneck.  

This House was a part of complex „Sacher´s Hotel & Curanstalt“, wich was established 1881 by Carl Sacher (1849 – 1929), one of the sons of Franz Sacher (1816 – 1907) - creator of Sachertorte (Sacher cake).

A lot of celebrity guests like Kaiserin Elisabeth "Sisi" were in this House.

The creator of Sachertorte Franz Sacher spent his evening of life in Baden and passed away 1907 in Baden-Weikersdorf . He was buried in the family grab on the Helenen-cemetery in Baden.

The historic building was completely renovated 2014 / 2015 and provides individually designed guest rooms, which can be entered through an lordly salon.

Our Pavilion (140m²) and Salon (80m²), which can be connected through a large terrace (140m²), are located on the ground floor. This setup gives you the best foundation for any events, such as weddings, seminars, etc.

Also the SPA area with Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi and relaxation area are available for our guests.
The remarkable wine cellar (70m²) we provide, gives you the opportunity to have a nice and pleasant evening for up to 20 people.

In our park alike garden you can find a heated swimming pool.
